I just read that Jimmy Fallon is probably going to take Conan O'Brien's "Late Night" talk show job once Conan moves to "The Tonight Show" in 2009.
At first I thought, "That's horrible! Jimmy Fallon is an idiot and barely funny."
But you know what? It actually might be a good thing.
Now Fallon will be busy with a five-day a week job. He won't have time for any crappy movies, and he won't even be guest starring on any television shows that I like.
In fact, I think this is a great move, NBC!
If only there was some way to digitally replace him in all DVD copies of Fever Pitch ...
Although I'm still not sure about Conan taking over "The Tonight Show". I mean, he can't be as bad as Leno is (homeboy just ain't funny). But isn't Conan a little better when he can do skits about rubber dogs pooping on stuff, or bears who ... well, you know? That's not really Johnny Carson material.
Also I'm saddened that NBC is moving the show from the studios in Burbank to a new setup at Universal Studios Hollywood. I'm a big fan of Burbank.
(No joke!)
