The title here may be a little misguiding, this was my first day at Walt Disney World on vacation. My brother Daniel, his roommate Andy and our high school buddy Zak arrived in Florida on Thursday morning, a full two days before me. I arrived Saturday, February 27th at 6:30 am local time, or 3:30 am my internal time. By the time I got my luggage and took the Mears Motor Shuttle to Ft. Wilderness, it was around 8 am. Cool thing, too, on the way to Ft. Wilderness we passed by Vista Way, where I spent the Summer of 1996 on the Walt Disney World College Program. So after a whole two hours of sleep on the plane, I was rearing and ready to go. Of course, Dan and Co. were still sleeping when I got there! I woke them up and we headed off to Disney's Animal Kingdom, the newest land at Walt Disney World.
